We design buildings and bring existing ones back to life, from first sketch through to site supervision.
An architecture project starts before the drawing: on the site, in the way the sun moves, in what the house will be once it is lived in. We work on new houses, heritage refurbishment and ground-up buildings, in Portugal and abroad.
A working farm in the north of Portugal, an 18th-century manor turned hotel in Barcelos, a stilt house at the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve. Different briefs, the same method: understand the place before proposing anything.
We stay on site to the end. It is the stage where most projects are lost, and the only way to make sure what was drawn is what gets built.
