Architecture and interiors in Comporta

Comporta imposes a discipline we are grateful for: low scale, local materials, and a landscape that will not take a building trying to dominate it.

Here we designed a stilt house at the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve and produced events between the pine woods and the rice fields. The vocabulary is the fishermen's; the rigour is the studio's.
